@Gloria thanks for the comment. I'm actually a fan of Kill Hannah. I checked out both of the new songs on Myspace and really liked Strobe Light, but wasn't as fond of New York City Speed.

However as a blogger and search marketer, your comment almost strikes me as spam. You clearly work for Kill Hannah's label since your e-mail address is with Original Signal Recordings. In addition you used Kill Hannah's Myspace page as your website. So were you commenting here just to push the bands new album and gain a backlink or do you really care about the Twilight Soundtrack and my review? BTW my comments are nofollowed. ;)

I'm going to leave the comment up since a) I like Kill Hannah and their music, and b) you actually took the time to comment and didn't use a bot. But seriously, in the future be wary of more savvy bloggers. We hate comment spam, and this feels borderline spammy.

Listen to Linkin Park's track "cure for the itch" on the Hybrid Theory Album. If you listen to it ALL the way through. Sounds like Edward's Lullaby to me.

I understand the importance of the lyrics for the soundtrack. But to me, the sound and the essence is what matters the most. When I listen to songs trying to relate them to Twilight, mood comes first, then lyrical concept. I am a huge Muse fan, so I was exceptionally delighted about SMBH. I think it captures the tone of the baseball scene; sort of upbeat and and sticks out to what you hear in the movie. My friends loathed Muse before they heard Supermassive Black Hole and they thought it was perfect for the scene in which it was in. To be honest, I think all of the songs worked in the movie.

But still, awesome and well thought out review. (=

Sorry, ignore that last comment. I missed out a couple words. Try again haha.

Firstly, thanks for the review and then the follow up with when the songs are used. It was helpful.
But, I was thinking about what you said about the Linkin Park song not fitting. I read the lyrics and I think [always there is a huge possibilty that I'm wrong considering I'm not in Stephenie Meyer's head] 'Leave Out All The Rest' was put in because lyrically, it can represent Edward's point of view. It sounds like it could fit how he feels when: he thinks he's going to kill her/thinks he has to leave her/knows he needs to leave Forks in a couple years due to his age/the possibilty of changing Bella.
I know the lyrics don't seem to fit perfectly but I'm sure there will be a reason she picked this song rather than another LP song.
Just a thought.
But yeah, thanks for the review =]
