Good Times In 04

So my last REAL post was probably one of my most heartfelt and serious entries on this ever. It covered a lot of my emotions and truths of what is going in my life right now. Since then things have been interesting. Obviously there has been a lot of working on my part. I spent New Years Eve at work until 2 a.m. While I didn’t mind all that much, I would have preferred going to Rick’s. On the first I worked yet again until closing, which left me really tired come Friday. Luckily I was able to get a shorter shift on Friday and got out of work a little after two. That’s when I dropped off rent at the apartment. Nicole was there to get the check so she could go to the bank to get the cashier’s check for rent. Her and I talked for a couple minutes before I left about the apartment situation and it looks like we’re all looking forward to the end of the lease. When I gave her the check and asked her about the last month of rent she said she was going to be happy when all of this was over. I couldn’t agree more…Things have been so crazy these past few months with the apartment.

Friday night we went to Target to pick up cat litter and I realized how much this world lacks any creativity. While we were there we searched through the toy aisles just for fun. We foudn the aisles full of toys from our childhood. I think they have brought back every single childhood toy from the 80’s. We saw He-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony, Care Bears, and Rainbow Brite (Which by the way looked so much better when I was a kid). What ever happened to NEW concepts? I can’t believe how much people rely on marketing something that worked in the past. It’s the same way with movies. Look how many remakes we have had in the past few years. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Peter Pan to name a couple. It’s really just sad. Grrr…

Last night was probably the highlight of my week though. Misty and I went to her parents to party a bit before we go on our diet. We started out eating some of her mom’s delicious enchiladas and then the drinking began. At first it was pretty uneventful with us basically sitting in the house watching a movie and drinking, but then about fifty of her sisters friends showed up and then the entertainment started. It wasn’t even so much that last night was fun, it was that it was entertaining. Half of her sisters friends are just stupid, immature, obnoxious, little kids. You had Mr. G.I. Joe who had apparently just returned from Korea, and unfortunately that was ALL he talked about. Brianne showed up though and put him in his place, basically told him to quit bitching about Korea since her brothers just returned from Kuwait and Afghanistan. Once he got off his military trip he spent the night praising Misty like there was not tomorrow. I have never heard someone go on the way he did about how great Misty was and that he had heard so many good things about her, and blah blah blah. Then of course you have to have the asshole kids that try and ruin it for everyone. Misty happened to discover that a couple of the kids were smoking weed in their truck, which is really disrespectful to Misty’s parents to come to their house and do that. Misty went and got her dad Wade, and he told the kids to leave. The fuckhead driving the truck pissed and moaned and argued with him telling him that Misty’s accusations were false, and then the passenger started acting like a little bitch and started to run his mouth. They kept going on, and I thought Wade was going to floor the kid. I almost wished someone would have. They peeled out of the driveway and acted like pissy bad asses and drove away. One of Misty’s sisters friends Danny threw a beer can at their truck on the way out, I had the same idea initially but I had put down my beer a couple minutes prior in fear that Wade and the kid were going to get into it. BUZZ KILL…

We drank for a few more hours, Brianne left, and then we called it a night. I couldn’t believe at the end of the night that I had drank almost the whole twelve pack of Heinekin on my own, boy was I drunk. Aparently I passed out on the bed before Misty came back in the room and she had to wake me up in order to get me to get under the covers and on my side of the bed. We slept through most of the night, but woke up at about 4 a.m. freezing cold and having to pee. Apparently we were freezing because we somehow managed to get the blankets all messed up and only had 2 each instead of four total. After we both went pee we added like 2 or 3 more blankets to warm up. It had apparently hit the 20’s or 30’s last night. I think Wade said 28 degrees. YIKES! It was so cold in the room it felt like we were sleeping outside.

We woke up a little after ten this morning and I ate left over enchiladas for breakfast and Misty had pizza. We watched Jeepers Creepers 2, which actually wasn’t a very bad movie. I had expected it to be kinda cheesy, but they did a good job keeping it fresh and interesting. It was definitely not as gory as the first. After the movie I took Wade up to Circle K to get more beer since he was out and then we came home. Today is going to be a lazy day for us. Misty just fell asleep again, after I write this I am going to take a shower get in my pajamas and do nothing all day. Luckily I don’t have much of a hangover. I’m just really dehydrated, tired, and have a headache. Tomorrow after Misty gets off work we are going to meet with the wedding photographer and I believe stop by the mansion as well. Tomorrow we start our diet also, my dad said a guy at work lost eight pounds in eight days already on it. Good times.
