Well today is the big day. In just five and a half hours I will be married. The nervousness finally hit me yesterday and I had trouble getting to sleep last night. Alas I finally fell asleep around 12:30 or so. The bachelor party was last Saturday. It was a lot of fun. We started out the night at Hooters so the younger ones in my wedding party could enjoy the festivities. Afterward we head back to the hotel room we were staying at in Fullerton. After hanging out for a bit we did some bar hopping and enjoyed a few drinks. Most of which were bought by my friends :smiles:. I ran into a friend of mine that I used to work with at one of the bars. The sad part was, I was so faded I didn’t realize it was him at first. He started talking to me and I played along with it but still wasn’t sure if it was him. I think it was a mix of the booze and the dark lighting. We ended the night back at the hotel room where Rick finally got to drink since he was DD. Sadly everyone else was too faded to enjoy it with him.
Oh yeah, did I mention that the girls showed up with a surprise gift bag for us? The bachelorette crew showed up and sent up a bag containing sperm candy, open condoms, a vibrator, and penis suckers. Let the gay fun begin!
Last night was my first night this week I wasn’t stressed. Everything was done, no one was nagging me, and I got to spend time with some of my closest friends. Rick picked me up at about seven and after I gave my parents, Rick, and his brother their gifts for being in the wedding and helping we head out for the night. We picked up Joe after stopping at Best Buy and head out to Riverside for the Mission Inn Ghost Walk. It was really really lame, but at least the money went to help kids in the local ballet. The stories are allegedly true, however the people telling them were either horrible story tellers or kids with horrible reading skills. It made it kinda difficult to follow. I think the first and last stories were perhaps the best, solely because the reader did a good job. The only other exciting part of the night was that at the end of the tour you walk through a store called DragonMarsh. I only got to briefly look at the items they had, but I noticed they had a huge selection of witchy things and a wall full of herbs. I was really excited by this and I think on the 30th I am going to take Misty down there so we can see some more stuff. If you want to check it out their website is www.dragonmarsh.com
Well I am off to finish my bowl of chicken corn chowder. The next time I post in here it will be about the honeymoon in Yosemite. We leave tomorrow.

So Misty and I are re-hooked on Degrassi: The Next Generation. I don’t know why, but there’s just something about the show that keeps us hooked. I’m a bit annoyed though, I had to download an episode off the net because the US is retarded and isn’t willing to play an episode that deals with teenage abortion. I wish our country wasn’t so naive and jaded and realize that the world isn’t this perfect pure place. The show never ceases to amaze me with the topics it covers. Rape, Drugs, homosexuality, self mutilation, and much more and it is all aimed at a teenage audience which I think is really good. It gives the viewers something to relate to if they are going through something similar. I gotta hand it to the Canadians, they really know how to focus on the issues. Not only that but the actors seem really down to earth. We caught a few behind the scene shows and I was surprised that the actors didn’t bother getting all done up for it. They literally looked like they had just woke up in a lot of them. So if you get Noggin watch Degrassi if you are into the whole teenage Canadian show thing. = )

So today was fun and interesting. Misty woke me up this morning around 9, however I was in no way ready to get up so I slept for another good hour or so. After getting up we screwed around for a while before I took a shower since we had planned to go to breakfast. We hit The Cowboy Surfer Grill and I had a really good breakfast sandwich with Sausage, Bacon, Ham, Eggs, Cheese, and Mayo on a Sourdough bread. It was really good. After breakfast we stopped by the house to pick up our cans and bottles to recycle. Unfortunately the place we usually recycle at was closed so we ventured to another location but unfortunately they too were closed at the moment. We finally wound up driving out to Norco to drop off the beverage containers at some strange Feed & Recycling place. It was run by a bunch of self absorbed rednecks that really didn’t acknowledge their customers at all. To top it all off the cans that were in the containers were swarming with bees and wasps. It was really freaky…
After dropping off the cans we came home to do some cleaning and for me to fool around on the net. I made some interesting discovery’s while doing so. I’m not sure how, but we started reading about dumpster diving, which lead us to a LJ community about dumpster diving. It was really interesting and I saw a whole other side of dumpster diving I had never even heard of. Apparently a lot of people out there dumpster dive for food that’s been thrown away. I would only dumpster dive for things like computer parts, CD’s, Books, etc. But apparently many people live off the old food thrown away at markets and such. A lot of the people posting on LJ were talking about searching for bagels. Apparently bagels are a big commodity in the dumpster diving world…Who knew? I got a little bit grossed out when people talked about eating Strawberries, banannas, potatoes, and of all things, meat that they found while diving. I find this practice to be a bit disturbing, however I figure that people have to eat right? I think what really kinda grossed me out though was the person talking about getting salmonella from eating bad meat and how it wasn’t that bad they just had really bad stomach pain and what not. EGH! I did some further research and found out that thanks to California dumpster diving and trash digging is not illegal, but if you do it somewhere it says private property or no tresspassing it can run you into some trouble.
After some extensive research on dumpster diving and the pros and cons of it we decided to take a trip to Target to purchase some wrapping paper to wrap Jayd’s birthday present for tomorrow. The financial God’s smiled upon us when we found wrapping paper on clearance and a ribbon for seventy-nine cents. After a trip around Target we head over to Rick’s place to meet up for a trip down to Heroe’s in Fullerton. Rick, his brother Robbie, and Alisha joined us for some great food and big beers. We talked and laughed for an hour or so before heading back to Rick’s before calling it a night. I had a lot of fun today and tomorrow should be just as fun.
Rick and I hammered out the details for my bachlor party. Looks like we’re going to hit Hooters first so my cousins can join since they are under age, and then head out to Fullerton where our friend Eddy was able to hook us up with a hotel room for fifty bucks. We’re gonna do some bar hopping and then head back to the room for some poker and drinking. It should be a blast I need to start getting to info out to everyone that I want to go so that they can get the day off or whatever.
Oh yeah…Misty punched me in the head today.
